Taking the proposed operations (in imported forest data) into account has the following options:
1. Proposed operations are not used in scenario calculation.
2. Proposed operations are taken into account during the first ten-year period (or until the last operation if the timing is later than ten years from the beginning of the calculation). No operations are simulated during the first ten-year period for the stands without proposed operations.
3. Proposed operations are taken into account if the stand has any. Operations can be simulated on stands without proposed operations.
The options described above can be seen in the picture below.
Option 1: "Do proposed operations" is off
Option2: "Do proposed operations" and "No operations for stands without proposed operations" are on
Option 3: "Do proposed operations" and "Simulate operations for stands without proposed operations" are on
When proposed operations are used in scenario calculation, the total cutting volume of the proposed cutting operation is used if it's given in the forest data. The distribution of the cutting volume to the assortments is determined by the operation models used in the calculation, i.e. the cutting volume by assortments is not used in the calculation, even if it is given in the forest data.
